My "Secret" "Turning Point"...

Ok, THIS is freaky....

I have watched the movie THE SECRET a lot of times, as they say that to benefit fully from it, you should watch it at least 7 times. I have watched it at least that many times, and there's a part where Bob Proctor says that to test the thesis of the movie, that you can experiment:

He says to concentrate on someone you haven't spoken to in a while, and soon enough- seemingly out of the blue- someone will ask about them, or you'll hear from them.

I heard that, and said- "Yeah, funny how that happens..."

Then when I watched it with Laura around the 4th time, I said "I want you to be my witness; I am going to think about JASMINE HARRISON, and I want to see what happens with that"

"Who is Jasmine Harrison?" She asked; without a hint of jealousy.

Jasmine Harrison was a girl I was mean to in Junior High School. I had no business being mean to her, but she made the mistake of telling me that I was wonderful and she loved me.

I punished her for her good taste!

But then, that was junior high school. That was 20 years ago, and I had only run into her once since then- at least 6 years ago.

I have had NO REASON to think of her.

Anyhow, I have lately been feeling awful for how I treated her, and awful for whatever way I might have programmed her, and I really wanted to make amends. So that's why I was thinking about her- I wanted to be able to tell her that I was sorry.

So, I kept watching the DVD, and everytime it would get to that Bob Proctor part, I would say "Oh yeah- think of Jasmine Harrison"- and I would.

I didn't "Visualize her"
I didn't "Feel the feelings"
I Didn't "Meditate" about her.

I was just reminded.

So, this weekend I'm at Marshall Sylver's "Turning Point Weekend Seminar", which is all about trance and hypnosis and becoming all you can be, blah, blah, blah, and WHO is there?

JASMINE FREAKIN' HARRISON!!!!!!

I JUMPED up when I saw her, hugged her, and at about 5000 words per second told her how glad I was to see her. I told Laura:

"Oh My GAWD- It's Jasmine Harrison- this is the girl I wanted you to be my witness for!!!"

During the break, with a lump in my throat, I told Jasmine that I was sorry for treating her so badly, and and we both had a tearful hug over it.

I wish I had the words to express to you how grateful I am that she was there, and that I had the opportunity to apologize to her.

So far, this "Turning Point Weekend" has been good, but seeing Jasmine has been the best part-
I even had the chance to encourage her to eat fire-

Maybe it can be a "Turning Point" for both of us.

My "ULTIMATE" epiphany...

I have been playing this video game "Marvel Ultimate Alliance" a lot lately.

A LOT.

I think the game is fantastic, and it involves playing many of the heroes from Marvel comics (Spider-man, Captain America, Iron Man, etc.) as they battle the evil plans of Dr. Doom.

When you are playing as any of the heroes, you are allowed to assign "points" to powers and strengths to their attributes, and take away from others. The computer can assign points for you in a methodically balanced way, or you can take control yourself.

Here's the epiphany:

I noticed that when I play the game, I prefer to take control myself (duh), and assign MANY points to one or two particular powers, and leave the others weak. That way I can use those powers exclusively, and have them be powerful.

For example, on Captain America, he has several powers, one of which is "Shield Throw". I have taken points away from all of his other powers, so that his "Shield Throw" is really strong.

and I use his "Shield Throw" all the time.

HOWEVER, in my own life, I seem to be putting points ALL OVER instead of focussing them on particular skills.

I am an actor, a comedian, a writer, a business idea generator, an internet marketer, and a real estate investor.

I am dividing my points up among those strengths instead of focussing on any one or two in particular.

Perhaps it's time to focus my points and start knocking out evil more effectively....

WAY!!

The next time you hear someone say :

"Someone should DO something about that",

just say "WAY"!!

They might think you are just agreeing with them, and you are, however-
you are also making a suggestion as to WHO should do something:

What
About
You?

"Someone should DO something about that"
"What About You"?

Way- What About You?
WAY!!

The next time you hear someone say :

"Someone should DO something about that",

just say "WAY"!!

They might think you are just agreeing with them, and you are, however-
you are also making a suggestion as to WHO should do something:

What
About
You?

"Someone should DO something about that"
"What About You"?

Way- What About You?
The Conspiracy Of Guilt and Blame

Education in America is at a CRISIS- kids are hardly learning anything at all, and what they DO learn is totally out of date and unimportant.

The Schools should do something.
The kids should do something.
The Parents should do something.
The Government should do something.
White people should do something.
Black people should do something.
YOU should do something.
I should do something.

Yup, and we ALL feel REALLY guilty about it, and we are ALL to blame.

But GUILT isn't a substitute for change.
and BLAME isn't a substitute for change.

In fact, Guilt and Blame keep things the same.

It's almost like if you feel guilty ENOUGH, then you don't have to change anything-
or if you can blame someone else ENOUGH, then you don't have to change anything.

But that's WRONG.

And that's not just for schools- it's for EVERYTHING.

Men who beat their wives feel GUILTY for doing it, so they don't change it.
Women BLAME their husbands for beating them, so they don't change it.

Women feel GUILTY for choosing men who beat them, so they don't change it.
Men BLAME their women for making them beat them, so they don't change it.

Smokers feel GUILTY for smoking, and they ALSO BLAME the cigarrette companies-
Cigarrette companies feel GUILTY for their product, and BLAME the smoker for smoking.

The Obese feel GUILTY for their habits, and they BLAME food.

At a time when the Dollar is imaginary;
When someone's handshake needs to be witnessed by lawyers and documented in triplicate;
When a promise to marry until death is broken within the same year,

Have GUILT and BLAME become the new currency?

Can you educate an illiterate adult with guilt?
Can you buy back thousands of Darfur lives with blame?

Why don't we cash in our imaginary currency of Guilt and Blame for a REAL good:

RESPONSIBILITY.

And not the type of responsibility that is DELEGATED or MANDATED,
but the kind of responsibility that acknowledges ALL of our power.

Whether you know it or not, just BELIEVING that we are PERSONALLY responsible for
EVERYTHING makes a difference.

With FREEDOM comes RESPONSIBILTY, and we are the most free creature on the planet-
So we are the most responsible. We have been saving our responsibility for a rainy day, but
this 21st century is a fine time to invest it:

I am responsible.
You are responsible.
We are responsible.

Let's dip into our Responsibility Savings Account and pay off our credit card of GUILT, and
maybe earn a little more responsibility and pay back that BLAME equity loan.

When Blame and Guilt come to collect, let's have Responsibility write them a check.
