The FREE System that Rocks my world!

I just want to reiterate again how impressed I am with the Spiderweb system.

The way it's set up is 100% FREE, and it includes all of this amazing stuff.
I use a personal domain name for it:

'

http://www.JobsStink.com

Because it just works better that way- don'tcha think?
While everyone is busy "Acting as if", I'm just doing my thing, enjoying life, and the system does the rest.

By the way, if you're reading this, you have nothing to lose by checking it out,
and EVERYTHING to gain.

I gave 1/8 to 1/12 of myself away!!

I gave blood today at a blood drive bus. It was pretty cool, and I met some people from my neighborhood. A group had come together wh were friends of someone who died of a seizure a few years ago, so now they do a blood drive every year.

Some of them were old pros like Alisa here.

Me? I don't even know my blood type!

The needle was big, but I had to be brave and put on a show, y'know- I concealed my fear in jokes- as usual. I gave a pint, and I learned that I only had 8-12 pints in there...

That's a LOT of Bones to give away- I hope they realize how valuable it is!

I was proud that I did something, and was able to help out in remembering their friend Joe. Try it out sometime!

My Barack T-Shirt...

People loved me today.

Well, they loved my T-Shirt because they all said so.

Anyway, I wrote more about this here:

My Barack T-Shirt...

People loved me today.

Well, they loved my T-Shirt because they all said so.

Anyway, I wrote more about this here:

http://www.TheMoneyMakingBlog.com

I have a popular T-Shirt

Today I got the most welcoming looks ever.

There were so many people who gave me a "great Shirt"
or a "Yeah" as I passed them it was a little silly.

People were acting like I was their friend, and it was all because of my T-Shirt.

Actually, it was all because of a man.
Actually, it was all because of a message that man gives.

The message of Hope.
Isn't that reason enough to vote for that man and his message?

Someone else said "They'll never let it happen" and "They'll kill him if he gets there".

I think that would just be the saddest thing ever.

Anyway, this is a business blog, so let me just say that T-Shirt advertising certainly still works. The question is- what message are you advertising?

On another note, two different people swore to me that they wanted their own T-Shirt, so I gave them my info to email me so they could.

Neither did it.

So, in my own dealings with people, I think it would be wise to realize that most people will do NOTHING if given the chance.

Remember that when you're prospecting;
If not even Barack Obama can move his people to action, maybe your message better be more than hope.

An Idea for Heifer.org...

I really love donating to http://www.Heifer.org.

In my ebook "How To Make Money and Have Sex In The Same Room Everyday"
I tell their story, and ask people to donate to the charity at the end.

Well, I recently had an Idea for them, so I sent this letter:
********************************************

Dear Heifer.org,

I had an idea.

I love donating on your site, and do I when I can. I also donate to
other charities,
but with yours that feeling of "buying" the gifts is just superb.

I really feel like I'm shopping, and the whole idea is genius.

I also occasionally do events for charities, and really love the
"personal donation pages"
that so many charities have now. Here are three of mine:

http://www.FirstGiving.org/BonesRodriguez
http://www.TheOvernight.org/Fundraising/Bones
http://www.Bones.HubHub.org

I was thinking how much more donations you would get if you had these kinds of
"personal giving" pages, where it's not just for events and people to
donate on, but even
the original donor would have their own portal.

For instance, at www.Heifer.org/Bones not only could other people
donate to it, and
"shop" for the gifts they'd like giving, they would of course be
offered their own site.

HOWEVER, if BONES goes to his own site, it would be a "shopping experience" like
at amazon.com- it could tell me what I bought last time, when the last
time I donated was,
where my purchases have gone, etc. You could do a myriad of things to make it a
"Shopping experience" that people would want to KEEP doing. They might even see
what their friends have bought recently (with everyone's permission of
course), and
maybe even send requests to their friends to "chip in" on promise
baskets and arks,
or any of the other "high-ticket" items.

I really think that Heifer is doing such great work, and I hope that
these ideas help
you go forward in expanding your reach and influence.

********************************************

We'll see what they do with it!

Sometimes, my friends rock...

I entered an online video contest, and I asked my friends to vote "10" for me:

http://www.marketingdoover.com/contestant/1118990

A few did (and the contest goes until July 28th), and that was cool.

But what was even BETTER, is that some voted a "10" for me, but ALSO
gave some of the other contestants crappy votes.

Now, I'm not for throwing the other guy under the bus, it's just that
my video IS better than the rest:

http://www.marketingdoover.com/contestant/1118990

I want to do well in this contest so badly, I even made it's own site,
with it's own story an everything:

http://www.BonesNeedsAMarketingDoOver.com

PLEASE HELP ME!!
I definitely didn't get the number of votes I'm hoping to get yet,
so please just take 2 minutes and vote for me:

http://www.marketingdoover.com/contestant/1118990

Then YOU can be on the list of cool friends!

Where the Hell Is Matt?

What a phenomenal video... Somewhere mid-way I just started choking up because of how the whole world can be involved in something together, smiling, dancing. I dunno why I was so moved, but I hope you are too:

Are you a Bitter, Angry, Ugly Woman?

I've been walking around telling people that I'm going to write this book, and I just want to say that if I do, it'll be quite a shocker of a title.

The Incredible HULK- A SMASH!!!!!!!

THANK YOU MARVEL!!

I am SO thrilled that HULK has been redeemed! The movie was quick-paced, and the storyline all made sense! Yes, that's important these days.
The action scenes were great, and you could actually SEE what was happening!

As a comic geek, I can say that this satisfied me. Instead of anger being his trigger, it's his heart-rate. I don't know why they made that change, but I am fine with it.

He does all of his powers- Leapng, smashing the ground, the clap- all VERY cool to see!

Contagious Giving RE-ANIMATED!!!

I am SOOO thrilled to be able to say that a dream I had a while ago came back, and I did NOTHING to make it come true!

Well, kind of.

A few years ago, I had an idea for a charity that worked as an MLM, and in my mind it was such a HUGE project, it was far beyond my capabilities. Instead, I started with "ContagiousGiving", where one person would give something to another, and send them to the site, where they could then pass another gift on to someone else.

Hence, "The giving was contagious".

HOWEVER, on this 36th year of my life, that I wanted to work towards charity, I found a PHENOMENAL group, doing what I originally wanted to. So, now, there's a NEW

I can't walk....

It's my own fault.

New York is a dangerous town; especially at night-
I should have known better.

And now I can't walk.

As you may know, I have been trying to get donations
to help prevent suicide as a way to celebrate my birthday:

http://www.theovernight.org/fundraising/Bones

If you're anything like me, you've been putting off "giving" until
you feel like you've "gotten" enough, but every year, it just seems
that you give less and less.

I wanted to change that.

Well, this weekend I was at a wonderfully joyous wedding,
and I couldn't help but notice a guest there who looked eerily
like someone I went to college with.

Let's call her Ann.

Ann was someone who I had performed with, made jokes with,
and created some great memories with.
Ann was friends with many of the people at the wedding,
so it wouldn't have been so weird if she had been there-

Except that Ann was dead.

Because Ann killed herself.

It's not well known because the family wanted to keep Ann's suicide a secret;
I guess that way they are spared the embarrassment they fear.

But as I sat there, lacking the courage to introduce myself to
the person who looked like our former friend Ann, I thought
about how many people we lose to depression and sadness.

And then it happened.

I realized that the deadline for donations is Friday,
and I'm nowhere near the required donation to participate in the
walk to save people like our friend Ann:

http://www.theovernight.org/fundraising/Bones

"The Overnight" turns the cynical, dangerous, New York city night
into a 20-mile walk dedicated to human kindness.

I can't walk unless I get to the minimum donation.

If friends and family would ask their friends and family to help me qualify,
then I'll be able to walk the 20 miles around New York, all for people
like Ann whom we enjoyed, but now only miss.

If you've lost someone to suicide, you know what I mean.

I would have loved to have seen her at that wedding.
Maybe she would even be married now.

Please help sponsor me and pass this note on to others
so we can stop suicide from robbing us of people like Ann:

it would be such a gift to be able to save a life 36 years later:
